Yellow Group
First, my dad drove me from my house to the Hopkinton Middle High School. That was where the bus was. Some people were late, and we had to wait for a little bit. After some time of waiting, everybody got on the bus, and said goodbye. We drove from the school to the AMC Cardigan Lodge. That was an example of movement of things and people. The people were moved from the school to the AMC Lodge. The drive was 1 hour and 9 minutes. An example of movement of ideas is that English moved from England, and came here, so we can speak to each other. English was used at the Lodge. When we got there, we met our group leaders, played a game, and saw our rooms. After everybody was ready, we started to hike.In my group was, Wyatt, Ashley, Jessie, Noah, Cassidy, Cameron, Mattais, and I. The group leader was Grechen. Our group hiked from the lodge to Welton Falls, with some stops on the way. One stop was a fallen tree, and we sketched there. When we were at Welton Falls, we got to go into a cave with a curve, so we could see the falls. Everybody started to keep on hiking again. There were streams, and we had to walk on huge dirt patches. Finally, we hiked from the pond area to the Lodge. On the way back, we stopped at an old cellar hole. The cellar hole was what was left of the house. These are examples of movement , a theme of Geography! on the Cardigan trip.
